How do I book a shoot?
Fill out this form! In order for me to get back to you with pricing and availability as soon as possible, please provide the date and location of your shoot. A 50% retainer is needed at the time of booking to reserve the your date of your shoot. The remainder is then due the date of your shoot, and I accept check, cash, Venmo, or Paypal.
What type of shoots do you do?
Lifestyle sessions (portraits, families, maternity, pets, etc.), engagements, and events (bridal showers, baby showers, parties, etc.).
How much does a shoot cost?
Events are priced hourly and engagement/lifestyle packages have a flat rate. For pricing, please contact me directly.
Do you travel and is there an additional fee?
Yes, I do travel! Shoots outside of New York City are subject to travel fees. Please contact me for a custom quote for your shoot.
What should I wear for my shoot?
I recommend wearing neutral, light colors for your shoot. If your shoot is with a significant other, try to wear colors and patterns that complement each other, but are not exactly the same/similar.
How many photos do we get?
The numbers of photos you will receive depends on the length of your shoot. I typically take about 100 photos per hour, and after editing and retouching I tend to narrow that down to about 50 (give or take!).
Do you include every photo you take?
No, I will not send you every single photo I take, but here’s why – I do not include duplicate images, unfocused shots, or shots where you are blinking, making a funny face, etc. I want to save you the time it would take to sort through each image and simply give you the best of the best.
When will we receive our photos?
You will receive a link to view and download all of your high-resolution photos within 3 weeks of your shoot. Editing and retouching are part of all photography packages so that I can provide you with the highest quality of work. I am happy to do a second round of retouching to a select list of photos (free of charge!) if there are additional changes you would like made. I want you to love your photos!
Can we share our photos online?
Absolutely! Feel free to share your photos with friends and family on Facebook, Instagram, and anywhere else you’d like. I do ask that you link to my website (www.jillsahner.com) or tag my Instagram account (@jillsahner) to provide credit if possible!
