It’s official, meet the new Mr. & Mrs. Gallagher!
This day was SO many months (and years, actually!) in the making, and I couldn’t think of two people more deserving of such a special celebration — who I’m also lucky enough to call friends.
I have known Gabby and Dan for quite a while now, and I actually first met Dan because we worked at the same company in New York City. When he and Gabby got engaged, I took their engagement photos and we eventually began chatting about their wedding. At the time they were planning for it to be August 2nd, 2020 — but we all know how those 2020 weddings went.
After making the difficult decision to postpone, Gabby and Dan had to wait even longer to get married. These two had known each other since college, both attending the University of Delaware, and lived together in Hoboken. At the time, I lived in Jersey City, and now nearly two years later, we both own houses out in the suburbs not far from where we grew up (respectively!).
Thankfully, for Gabby and Dan’s wedding, second time was a charm and these two were finally able to have the wedding of their dreams.
Although the forecast looked pretty rainy all week leading up to their big day, after a few morning showers it was nothing but clear skies (some clouds, but that worked in our favor for photos!) for this wonderful couple.
They officially tied the knot at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Nutley, NJ and afterwards we headed down the road to Memorial Park to take their just married portraits. From there, it was time to party at the Westmount Country Club, where 200 of their friends and family members gathered to celebrate their love.
I feel so honored to have been able to capture this beautiful day for Gabby and Dan, and even more lucky to have found such wonderful friends. Congratulations to the Gallaghers, I can’t wait for you two to start this next chapter in your lives together!
