Behind the Lens

Hi, I’m Jill — a wedding photographer based in New Jersey with a deep love for storytelling and thoughtful details. When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me decorating spaces in our 1950s Cape Cod-style home, spending time with our two sweet rescue pups, or curled up with my Kindle working my way through a slightly concerning number of romantasy novels on my TBR.

I married my husband, Matt, in May of 2022 (we’re a Bumble success story!) so I truly understand what this season of life feels like. Between the decisions, the timelines, and the many vendors to book, wedding planning can feel overwhelming at times. When you work with me, you don’t just get a photographer; you gain a trusted presence and lifelong friend.

I believe the most meaningful photographs are created through connection, that’s why my approach goes far beyond simply showing up on your wedding day — I’m here to support you, guide you, and tell your story with care every step of the way.

Interior Design

Design has always been one of my favorite ways to express creativity. From sourcing pieces with character, to layering textures that make a space feel lived-in and personal, I find so much joy in making my home feel warm, thoughtful, and collected over time. One of my favorite pastimes is antiquing and thrifting secondhand home decor items.

Rescue Dogs

Giving back through photography has been incredibly meaningful to me, especially my work volunteering with incredible rescue organizations like The Sato Project and photographing dogs in need of loving homes. Adopting my own rescue dogs changed my life, and supporting this community continues to be something I am deeply passionate about.

stories that slow me down

Reading

Rediscovering my love for reading over the past few years has become one of my favorite rituals. Getting lost in a good book — especially fantasy — has reminded me how powerful storytelling can be, and how important it is to make space for creativity and imagination outside of work. My favorite series include Throne of Glass and Red Rising.

The Heart Behind

MyWork

Creativity has always been a constant in my life — I’ve been drawn to finding new and meaningful ways to express it for as long as I can remember. Around the age of twelve, that curiosity led me to photography. Over time, what began as a creative outlet evolved into something far more purposeful when I discovered my love of working with couples.

While photography may have been the starting point, it’s the connections I form with the people I work with that truly inspire me. Every wedding is deeply personal, and taking the time to know my couples as people — not just as clients — completely shapes the way I document your day.

From our first email exchange dreaming about your wedding vision, to getting comfortable together during your engagement session, to greeting you with a big hug on the morning of your wedding… these are the moments I value most. My goal is not only to capture the beauty and emotion of your day, but to help you feel at ease and confident in front of the camera, as though you’re spending the day with an old friend.
