Berkeley Heights Backyard Microwedding | Kate & Aaron

Berkeley Heights, New Jersey

|

Like many 2020 couples, Kate and Aaron’s dream wedding was unfortunately impacted by COVID-19. Originally planned for July 11th at Maritime Parc in Jersey City, Kate and Aaron were faced with the difficult decision to postpone their big celebration to July 17th, 2021.

However, this sweet couple still wanted to get married this year and, with the help of their families, planned a beautiful, intimate backyard wedding at Kate’s parents’ house.

Despite the threat of rain all day — and several last minute changes to the seating arrangements — we had clear skies throughout the ceremony! The rain finally started towards the end of our family formals, but everyone made the most of it. To be honest, a little rain felt good in the 90+ degree heat!

I am so happy that I was able to celebrate with Kate and Aaron even though their wedding wasn’t initially what we had planned. And, we get to do it all over again next year at Maritime Parc! Congratulations to Kate and Aaron on their marriage!

  • Congratulations to Kate and Aaron! And thank you Jill for the beautiful pictures. It is so nice to see you as the beautiful adults you have become. Our memories of you girls at Westminster Church have now been updated! We hope to some day have the chance to meet Aaron. We wish you all the best for your life together.
