A: Once I have answered any questions you may have and you’ve decided that working together is exactly what you’re looking for, the next step is to book your branding session with me. I will create an online proposal, and when you’re ready you can sign the contract and pay the retainer online via credit card. Half of the total cost is due at the time of booking to secure your date, and the second half is due one week before your session. Please note: your session date will not be held for you until the first retainer payment is made!

​​A: I am more than happy to brainstorm locations with you! If you don’t have access to an office or studio that is well lit and visually aligns with your brand and style, we can discuss alternative locations — I highly recommend checking out Home Studio List, a curated list of houses, apartments, and indoor locations that are perfect for branding sessions.

​​A: We will shoot a variety of types of photos to provide you with plenty of options — including classic “smiling at the camera” headshots, candids (or as I like to say, “plandids”), performing your service or craft (photographing, styling hair, calligraphy, etc.), and other detail shots of your tools and/or the space.

​​A: You can use the photos wherever and however you’d like — your website, marketing assets, social media, ads, etc.

​​A: I recommend doing anything to feel your best before your session! I definitely think it can be worthwhile to have your hair and makeup professionally done, although I do think it makes sense to keep it on the more natural side to maintain a recognizable but elevated version of you. However, if you don’t tend to like how you look when someone else does your hair and makeup, then skip it — you want your photos to look and feel authentically you!

​​A: You will receive approximately 100 photos per hour of shooting. You will have the ability to print, share, and download your images as much as you want via your password protected online gallery. No watermarks, no extra download charges.

A: Yes, all prices include tax. There is an additional travel fee for sessions that are farther than one hour from where I am located in Fanwood, New Jersey.

A: If you session is outside, we’ll keep an eye on the forecast leading up to the day and make a judgment call the night before. Sometimes we may need to reschedule to a future date, but there is no weather-related rescheduling fee. As long as it’s not heavily raining, we will be able to shoot (clouds are not a bad thing!).

A: You will receive your full branding session gallery within 4 weeks. Your online gallery will be available to you for one year after your session.

A: All payments are non-refundable — however, they are transferable. In the event you need to reschedule, you are able to put your retainer towards a new date.
