Robyn and Joe’s wedding was special for so many reasons, the first of which being they are seriously the sweetest, funnest, most caring couple. To top it off, they both graduated from my alma mater, Bryant University — and that’s where they met!
Although I didn’t know Robyn and Joe when we were all at Bryant, getting to know them over the past year and a half as they planned their wedding was such a blessing.
Their Hartford City Hall engagement session was basically the last thing we did before we went into quarantine, and although we weren’t sure what the rest of the year had in store, we stayed positive that their October 10th wedding would be able to happen as planned.
In true 2020 fashion they were not able to have the original day they had been dreaming of. But, thanks to a few adjustments and the hard work of many — including the amazing Caity of Nightingale Events — Robyn and Joe’s special day was to be split into two special days. So this year, we got them married (!!!) and next year we will celebrate with their original guest list!
Nothing could stop these two from tying the knot on 10/10/20 — not wind (and BOY was it windy), not rain (somehow it didn’t rain!), and certainly not the pandemic. I could not be happier for these two, and I can’t wait to do it all again next year!
