Amanda and Nick’s spring wedding day at The Park Savoy Estate in Florham Park, NJ was nothing short of spectacular. With Blue Jasmine — one of my personal favorite florists — filling the day with lush, romantic blooms, every detail felt like something out of a dream. Although the forecast called for rain, the skies cleared and gave us a warm, beautiful day that perfectly reflected the joy and love surrounding these two.
The morning began at their Hoboken apartment, where Amanda and her girls got ready with sweeping views of the New York City skyline. There was such an air of excitement and calm, and Amanda was truly glowing. At the venue, she slipped into a custom Pnina Tornai gown, aptly named “The Amanda,” which was designed just for her. The gown was absolutely breathtaking, and seeing her in it for the first time was a moment none of us will forget.
Amanda was joined by 14 of her closest friends, each stunning in their own unique white dress — a fresh and modern twist that looked incredible all together. Meanwhile, Nick and his groomsmen spent the morning in the groom’s suite at the venue, sharing laughs and anticipating the moment he’d finally see his bride.
That moment came during an emotional first look in the Park Savoy’s chapel. Nick was overcome the second he saw Amanda, tears and all. Their love is so genuine and palpable, and photographing that moment was such an honor. From there, we took advantage of the immaculate gardens for their portraits — with everything in bloom, the setting felt timeless and full of life.
Amanda and Nick’s Catholic ceremony in the Park Savoy chapel was heartfelt and deeply meaningful, surrounded by beautiful florals that brought the space to life. From there, the celebration truly began — and what a celebration it was! Their reception was filled with nonstop energy, thanks to one of the most electric bands I’ve ever experienced. Guests danced the night away, celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. Doren with laughter, love, and so much joy.
