Megan and AJ’s love story began long before they officially became a couple. Growing up in the same town in Palos Verdes, California, they were in the same grade but always attended different schools. While they had mutual friends, their paths never truly crossed until years later when fate brought them together at work. AJ was in the process of transitioning out of his company when he trained Megan, the newest hire. They instantly recognized each other’s names and faces from their hometown, and what began as a reconnection quickly grew into something more.
Over the years, Megan and AJ built a beautiful life together filled with adventures both big and small. From evenings lounging by the pool with their two pups, Tommy and Bruno, to friendly tennis matches and exploring new restaurants, their relationship has been marked by love, laughter, and companionship. AJ surprised Megan with the most stunning radiant-cut diamond ring for their engagement, accented with small diamonds along the band — a perfect blend of her vision and his thoughtful design.
When it came to planning their wedding, Megan and AJ drew inspiration from what felt most authentic to them. They envisioned a celebration centered around connection, between the two of them as well as their family and friends. With half of their guests traveling in from California and the other half from New Jersey, they wanted everyone to feel their love in the room. Choosing Crystal Point Yacht Club as their venue was a natural fit; both were born and raised by the water, and the harbor views perfectly reflected their story. To make the day even more meaningful, Megan incorporated her great-grandmother’s ring, carrying a piece of family legacy with her.
Their late-summer wedding day could not have been more perfect. The September sun sparkled across the harbor as Megan and AJ shared their emotional first look, AJ’s eyes brimming with tears as he saw his best friend. Their ceremony was filled with heartfelt vows, laughter, and shared tears of joy. Surrounded by loved ones who had traveled from near and far, they celebrated the start of this new chapter with an unforgettable evening of dancing, laughter, and pure joy. It was the most beautiful reflection of everything Megan and AJ had hoped for — a day defined by love, family, and the happiest of beginnings.
