Autumn Princeton University Engagement

Princeton, New Jersey

|

Emily and Will’s Princeton engagement session was the perfect way to welcome the start of fall — a soft breeze in the air, warm evening light, and architecture that perfectly echoed the timeless feel of their story. These two first met in Hoboken at a local spot called Stewed Cow and have been together for just over two years. They both knew early on that they had found something special. Will likes to joke that he knew she was “the one” right away, while it took Emily just a few weeks to catch up.

Their engagement took place down the shore over the Fourth of July weekend — a location close to Emily’s heart. Will proposed on the boardwalk in her family’s beach town, surrounded by both of their families for the holiday weekend. Every detail of the proposal was perfectly planned, including a ring that carries deep family history: two heirloom diamonds and even the platinum band passed down through Will’s side, designed together to reflect their story.

Now calling Hoboken home, Emily and Will love spending their days by the water, going out for dinner dates, or relaxing on the couch — Emily with a book in hand and Will tuned into the latest game.

Their engagement session in Princeton, where they’ll also celebrate their wedding day, felt like the perfect preview of everything ahead. Between ivy-covered walls, quiet courtyards, and cobblestone walkways, the campus offered a stunning backdrop that felt both classic and intimate. It was a beautiful early-fall evening spent capturing a love that feels effortlessly timeless. So excited to celebrate these two next November at Jasna Polana!
