An absolutely beautiful night with Michelle and Marissa in downtown Hoboken!
These two are truly the sweetest, and I felt like we were friends from the moment we spoke on our first call together. I was so excited leading up to our session, and although it was a little bit chilly (and a lot windy), Michelle and Marissa kept the most amazing, joyful attitudes the entire time as we made our way around Hoboken’s quaint Court Street and historic brownstones on Hudson Street, got beers at the Ainsworth, and ended with so many fun-filled moments on the waterfront of Pier A.
This sweet couple first met in college! As Marissa tells it, “We met freshman year of college through a mutual friend (Marissa’s best friend from high school). We started out as friends, but became closer as time went on. We started dating sophomore year and have been together since. As for who made the first move, that’s still up for debate!”
They have been together for 10 years now! Marissa officially proposed to Michelle in March of 2022. “She took me to our favorite point in Hoboken that lets you see the city skyline, although is was the coldest day of the year it was a dream.”
Marissa and Michelle live together in Jersey City and enjoy at-home date nights, time with their family and friends, going to the beach, and hiking. I couldn’t be more excited for their wedding day — which was almost exactly a year from the day of their engagement session — next May at Perona Farms!
