Whimsical Spring Wedding at The Ryland Inn Coach House

Whitehouse Station, New Jersey

Lauren and Todd’s fairytale wedding day at The Ryland Inn Coach House was nothing short of perfection! From the incredible spring weather and soft, glowy light, to the whimsical florals and decor, this wedding was an absolute dream.

These two first met in high school, but didn’t start dating until college! As Lauren tells it, “Ironically and very inconveniently, we rekindled and fell in love while I was going to school 4 hours away. We managed to survive a long distance relationship for 4 years. We have been together for over 6!”

Lauren and her bridesmaids got ready at Lauren and Todd’s house, and as soon as I walked in I was blown away by how stunning she looked — and her hair and makeup weren’t even done yet! She was truly a vision as her glam team finished up her final look, and it was everything she had dreamed of and then some. Their home was immaculately decorated, and adorned with gorgeous white balloons. An abundance of natural light made my heart sing, and I had the best time capturing the girls getting ready and swooning over Lauren after she stepped into her gown.

These two made their marriage official at St. Helen Roman Catholic Church in Westfield. This church was recently renovated and is absolutely stunning — mixing classic and traditional with modern and updated. Todd beamed as his bride walked down the aisle to meet him at the altar, and together they made their promises to each other and sealed them with a kiss. They were officially married!

From there we all headed to the beautiful Ryland Inn to celebrate! There wasn’t a cloud in the sky as we shot their wedding party photos and portraits. And then, at last, it was time to party! Lauren and Todd’s friends truly know how to have a good time, and between beer bongs on the dance floor and many (many!) Taylor Swift remixes, it was an absolutely amazing night.

I couldn’t be happier for these two to start this next chapter in their lives together — congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Salkins!
