Spring Lake Beach Divine Park Engagement

Spring Lake, New Jersey

|

Tis the season for Spring Lake engagement sessions! But I can’t complain — Spring Lake is one of my favorite places (we even did our own engagement photos here) and it’s such a perfect mix of setting with the park and beach so close together.

Amanda and Kyle were so much fun to work with! Amanda texted me about a week before their session telling me how excited she was, and it absolutely made my day! I knew we’d hit it off right off the bat, and we had the best time taking their joyful, glowy engagement photos.

These two met totally by chance, but are so thankful they did! “Kyle and I met at right before last call at Bar A in Belmar on Cinco de Mayo (but technically May 6th, due to time). We danced, had some drinks and exchanged numbers — but I deleted his number in the morning because I figured I’d never hear from him again. Two weeks later I got a Snapchat request from a Kyle Norman. Mind you, when I met Kyle that night I did not get his name! So I don’t even know if I accepted the request because who adds people randomly on Snapchat.”

“The same day I got Instagram request from the same guy, and I recognized him immediately! I messaged him and said, “You found me!” We chatted and instantly hit it off. We went on one date, and have been inseparable since.”

Kyle officially popped the question on August 1, 2020 and it was such a great surprise, especially during the pandemic!

“We were originally supposed to go to the Grand Canyon and he was going to do it there, but our trip was cancelled and his backup was way better. My favorite flowers are sunflowers so he took me to a sunflower field and got down on one knee. He even had a photographer! I was in shock. The best part was the planned party with all our friends and family back at home waiting for us.”

Amanda is absolutely obsessed with her ring — with good reason! “It’s a solitaire with 6 prongs in a white gold setting. It is EXACTLY what I wanted and more. Kyle asked me early on what type of ring I wanted. We did not pick it out together but he remembered what I wanted.”

Together these two love to go to golf, try new restaurants, go to the beach for dinner, and experience new things! I am SO excited for their wedding next March at the English Manor in Ocean Township, NJ. Congratulations to Amanda and Kyle!
