Kelli and Jeff are married!!! These two had the most spectacular wedding day — it truly felt like a dream! From the incredible weather, to the picture-perfect setting, to the epic golden hour glow, and so many sweet moments full of love and laughter in between, they could not have wished for a more amazing day.
This sweet couple got engaged on October 1 of last year. As Kelli tells it, “We went for a walk on the beach in Manasquan, which is where we met. It was a really nice day and we go for walks all the time, so I thought nothing of it. We were walking down by the water and I was walking a little bit ahead, so I turned around to see where Jeff was — and he was down on one knee!”
Kelli, of course, said yes, and together they began to plan the wedding day of their dreams.
I have been excited for Kelli and Jeff’s special day for months! If you know anything about me, you know Spring Lake is one of my favorite places on earth (we even took our own engagement photos there!) so I couldn’t wait to create some magic with these two.
Even though they were doing a church ceremony, Kelli and Jeff decided to do a first look — which of course made me a very happy photographer! It truly felt like beach weather as I helped Kelli make her way down the boardwalk and onto the sand, and suddenly she was only feet away from seeing her groom for the first time.
Their first look was a beautiful and emotional moment, and from there the rest of the day remained absolutely flawless. Kelli’s bridesmaids wore chic champagne dresses from BHLDN, and Jeff’s groomsmen looked dapper in their Jos. A. Bank suits. This was such a fun crew, and we had the best time capturing these special moments for Kelli and Jeff.
Spring Lake Bath & Tennis Club was the perfect space to celebrate the newlyweds — and it didn’t hurt that we got the most glorious, glowy sunset for their golden hour portraits. I will never forget this magical day, and am so honored that Kelli and Jeff trusted me to be a part of it.
