An Early-Spring Wedding at The Park Savoy Estate

Florham Park, New Jersey

|

There are some wedding days that feel effortlessly meaningful from beginning to end — and Elizabeth and Craig’s celebration at Park Savoy Estate was exactly that. Set on one of the very first sunny days of spring, their wedding was the perfect blend of timeless elegance, heartfelt family moments, and pure joy.

From the very beginning, their story has felt meant to be. Introduced through her brother and a mutual friend in September 2022, Elizabeth and Craig’s connection started with a quiet Instagram follow… and a bold story-like that changed everything. From their first date, they both knew — and by January, they made it official (even though their hearts were already there).

Their proposal was just as intentional. On a calm beach in Lavallette, Craig created a moment Elizabeth will never forget. A path of white roses led to a cozy setup on the sand, where he told her, “This is where I told you I loved you, and this is where I’m going to ask you to marry me.” Every detail reflected how deeply he knows her, from the setting to the elongated cushion-cut ring she had once casually mentioned.

Their wedding day carried that same level of thoughtfulness.

Elizabeth and Craig chose Park Savoy for its warmth and character — drawn to its timeless, “old money” aesthetic and the feeling that it was more than just a venue, but a meaningful part of their story. Inspired by a Ralph Lauren–esque sense of classic elegance, they leaned into details that felt cohesive and intentional. Gold-framed accents echoed throughout the day, seamlessly tying into the venue’s existing charm, while soft white and blue florals balanced the richness of black bridesmaid dresses for a look that felt both refined and fresh for early spring.

The day began in the newly opened Carriage House, where Elizabeth stepped into her stunning Justin Alexander gown, surrounded by her closest girls. Just nearby, Craig and his groomsmen got ready at the Archer Hotel Florham Park, anticipation building for the moments ahead.

One of the most emotional parts of the day was their first look, tucked inside the chapel — quiet, intimate, and filled with the kind of emotion that instantly grounds the entire day. It was also where they would later exchange personal vows, making their ceremony feel deeply personal and centered around what mattered most.

Family was woven into every part of their celebration in the most beautiful way. Elizabeth carried her Nana’s wedding purse — a meaningful heirloom passed down for the day — and incorporated framed wedding photos of their parents and grandparents, honoring the marriages that came before theirs. It was a reminder that their wedding wasn’t just about the two of them, but about the generations of love surrounding them. And thoughtful, personality-filled details, like custom matchbooks displayed in thrifted silver bowls and branded hats passed out during the reception, made the evening feel uniquely theirs.

Elizabeth and Craig’s wedding was everything they hoped it would be: timeless, elegant, warm, and full of love. A celebration not just of their relationship, but of family, intention, and the life they’re building together. It was such an honor to document this incredible day, and I’m so excited for everything that’s ahead for these two!
