Christine and Colin’s wedding day at Fiddler’s Elbow was the perfect reflection of who they are as a couple: joyful, energetic, and full of heart. Although temperatures climbed well above what you’d expect for a mid-June wedding, they embraced every moment with excitement and never stopped smiling. From their emotional first look to a sun-soaked ceremony complete with parasols for guests, every part of the day felt thoughtful, heartfelt, and filled with love from the people who mean the most to them.
Before they first met, Christine had heard about Colin from mutual friends who described him as “the cute one that everyone had a crush on.” She even knew his go-to karaoke song was Drops of Jupiter by Train, which happened to be the same song she had always imagined incorporating into her future wedding day (and, spoiler alert, it became their first dance song!).
Their story officially began during their junior year at Syracuse University at a beer pong mixer between Colin’s fraternity and Christine’s sorority. Paired as opponents, Colin may have won the game but Christine definitely won the night. After spending the evening talking and dancing together, the connection was immediate, and nearly eight years later they found themselves celebrating their wedding day surrounded by family and friends.
Christine spent the morning of their wedding getting ready in the beautiful Fiddler’s Elbow bridal suite alongside her bridesmaids, before sharing an emotional first looks with her father (we sobbed!) and then Colin (we sobbed again!). We took advantage of both the stunning indoor spaces and scenic grounds for portraits, wedding party photos, and family photos before their guests gathered for an outdoor ceremony beneath the June sunshine. Their ceremony was rooted in commitment, faith, and their unfaltering love for each other.
More than anything, what stood out throughout the day was the incredible energy surrounding these two. Christine and Colin have the kind of joyful personalities that make everyone around them feel welcome, and it was clear just how deeply loved they are by their family and friends. From heartfelt moments throughout the day, to an absolutely packed dance floor that evening, every part of their celebration reflected the beautiful life they have built together.
Congratulations to the Pedricks! It was such an honor to document this unforgettable day.
