An Industrial-Meets-Romantic Wedding at Cork Factory Hotel

Lancaster, Pennsylvania

|

Nicole and Billy are two of the kindest, most genuine people, and it was such a joy to document their wedding day at the Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster, PA. These two first met on Hinge in January of 2022 and quickly realized just how much they had in common. From the start, their intentions were clear — they were both looking for something real — and that first date at a speakeasy in the Lower East Side was the beginning of something truly special.

Their official anniversary is Valentine’s Day, and Nicole shared the sweetest story about how Billy asked her to be his girlfriend. “Even though we went on this fancy dinner date on Valentine’s Day, after dinner we went to this half empty Irish bar around the corner. We were drinking two Stellas and that’s where he asked me to be his girlfriend. The story seems simple, but I love the way it worked out!” They even named one of their two cats Stella in honor of that moment!

When Billy proposed in Central Park the following October, the plans had already been rescheduled multiple times due to constant fall rain in the city. On the first nice weekend in weeks, he finally pulled it off — with a little help from a Task Rabbit photographer and some frantic texting to coordinate. The proposal might not have gone exactly as he imagined, but Nicole said it best: “It was perfectly imperfect and a great story I’ll have to tell.”

When it came time to plan their wedding, Nicole and Billy wanted to bring a city feel to their day while leaning into Nicole’s love for all things bright, colorful, and floral. They landed on a garden party theme with a vibrant palette to contrast the industrial setting of their venue. The Cork Factory Hotel was the perfect fit — a unique, historic space with an easy hotel experience for their many out-of-town guests (especially with Billy’s big Italian family!).

After a week of closely watching the weather, we lucked out with clear skies for their big day. Nicole got ready in the bridal suite surrounded by her closest friends, while Billy and his groomsmen hung out in the Billiards Room. They shared a private first look in the garden courtyard followed by emotional personal vows — such a meaningful moment between just the two of them.

Their ceremony took place in the Cork Factory’s romantic indoor space, filled with beautiful florals and soft candlelight. And once they were officially Mr. and Mrs. Treglia, it was time to celebrate! The reception was full of laughter, dancing, heartfelt toasts, and so much love from their friends and family.

Nicole and Billy, thank you for trusting me to capture such a special day. Your warmth, humor, and love for each other made this one to remember — and I’m so honored to have been a part of it.
