Spring Lake, New Jersey
|
There’s something undeniably magical about Spring Lake in late spring — the golden light, the gentle breeze off the water, and the quiet charm of Divine Park. It made the perfect backdrop for Brianne and Justin’s engagement session, especially with their adorable Australian Labradoodle, Ruby, in tow. Just six months old and already a total pro in front of the camera, Ruby had the best time running through the sand and dipping her paws in the waves. She added so much joy and energy to an already sweet and sun-soaked evening.
Brianne and Justin’s story began at their first job out of college. They initially met during orientation and quickly became friends, chatting almost daily despite being on different teams. After a year of subtle signals and growing friendship, it wasn’t until a post-orientation trip to Austin, Texas that things officially began. Justin made the first move, and just a few dates later, Brianne was spending the Fourth of July at his family’s beach house. Six years later, their connection is just as strong — if not stronger — and filled with the simple joys of everyday life together.
Brianne’s engagement ring, an elegant oval diamond they picked out together, is as timeless as their relationship. While she knew the proposal was coming, Justin still managed to completely surprise her with the timing — and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
Together these two now live in Jersey City, where they love soaking up the sunshine on long walks, cooking at home, and spending quality time with Ruby. Their engagement session reflected so much of what they love: being outdoors, laughing together, and enjoying the calm and comfort of each other’s company.
From the quiet charm of Divine Park to the open skies and soft sand of Spring Lake Beach, this session was such a beautiful way to capture this exciting chapter of their lives. I can’t wait to celebrate these two this September at Ninety Acres!
