Nicole and Frank’s Lavallette engagement session was pure summertime magic!
These two have been together for almost 4 years, and first met when Nicole’s best friend began dating Frank’s friend. They were always ending up being in the same place at the same time, but were truly just friends at first.
While Frank had tried to convince Nicole to go on a date with him many times over a course of several months, finally he wore her down and (thankfully!) she said yes to a date.
After that, the rest was history and they’ve been together ever since!
Frank proposed last November at one of Nicole’s favorite places in Piermont, NY. She was COMPLETELY surprised, and their families joined them to celebrate afterwards!
Nicole’s engagement ring is a solitaire diamond with a silver band, and it’s absolutely gorgeous — although I’m admittedly a bit biased, since it’s super similar to my ring (aside from the band)!
I met up with Frank and Nicole at Frank’s grandfather’s house, which was conveniently only a few blocks from the beach in Lavallette. We lucked out with one of the most amazing weather days this summer, there were some clouds diffusing the sun and there was a playful sea breeze to keep us cool and comfortable.
Nicole and Frank were so much fun to work with! They both admitted to being a little nervous ahead of the shoot, as they weren’t entirely sure what to expect, but they were immediately naturals taking my direction like total pros. We laughed the entire time!
Together Nicole and Frank live in Somerville, NJ. In their spare time, they love to see family and friends, watch live bands perform, go for runs, and — not surprisingly — go to the beach.
I am so excited to shoot Nicole and Frank’s wedding next December at Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant! Congratulations to these two and I can’t wait to work with them again!
