Alex and Wes’s Park Chateau wedding day was nothing short of magical. Set against the backdrop of one of New Jersey’s most iconic venues, their celebration on the first of May unfolded with the sweetest springtime details — just as the last cherry blossoms held on and the sun cast a warm glow across the gardens.
These two first met at a mutual friend’s birthday party, and it almost didn’t happen! Wes wasn’t even planning to go, but made a last-minute decision to attend. Fate clearly stepped in, and a month later they were officially together. Four and a half years later, Wes proposed at Bradley Beach. Thick fog delayed the moment (and added a fair bit of suspense), but once the skies cleared he got down on one knee on a perfect summer afternoon. Alex said yes to forever, and the solitaire ring they picked out together is as timeless and elegant as their love story.
Their wedding day felt like an extension of everything they love: spending time with each other, being surrounded by their favorite people, and soaking in the simple joys of life. Alex wore a stunning Signature by Justin Alexander gown with delicate floral detailing, paired with an ethereal floral appliqué veil. She looked radiant walking down the aisle of Park Chateau’s chapel to meet Wes, who looked sharp in a classic tux. Their ceremony was heartfelt and joyful, and they exited the chapel under a shower of bubbles and cheers from their guests.
From beginning to end, the day was filled with light, laughter, and so much love. With the softest spring air, peak golden hour glow, and the perfect touch of romance in every detail, Alex and Wes’s celebration was a dream to capture. As if this day wasn’t beautiful enough, they’ll be celebrating once more with Wes’s family in China — a love story shared across continents.
