Elegant Estate Wedding at The Park Savoy

Florham Park, New Jersey

An incredible day for Meghan and Dan! Despite some unseasonably warm early-June heat, there was nothing but sunny skies for this sweet couple as they celebrated their wedding day at the beautiful Park Savoy Estate.

Meghan and Dan have known each other for five years now. As Meghan tells it, “We met briefly back in April 2019 at a bar in Hoboken. We didn’t speak again until October 2019, as we had a mutual friend and Dan asked that friend to set us up. We went on our first date in November 2019 and only took a month for us to make it official. We’ve been together for 3.5 years — the pandemic happened just a few months after we met, so we were able to spend a lot of time together during that time.”

Dan proposed in August of 2022 at their apartment! “We had an intimate proposal in our apartment on a summer morning, with our new puppy there with us. Dan planned a whole day — drinks at the place we first met, lunch at our first date spot, etc.” Meghan’s ring is a solitaire diamond with a thin diamond band, and she absolutely loves it. “We didn’t pick it out together, but I gave him a very brief description of what I liked and he killed it.”

Although these two first met in Hoboken and lived in Weehawken together for a few years, last year they moved out to the suburbs for a change of scenery. They enjoy trying new restaurants, watching sports, playing with their sweet pup, and frequenting the beach in the summer.

When searching for their wedding venue, Meghan picked out 6-8 venues to visit — and Dan picked one. Park Savoy was the first venue they visited, and they immediately cancelled all of their other appointments. As Meghan says, “They treated us like royalty, we loved the look of the chapel and the grounds and found the ballrooms to be classic.” It was the perfect setting for their special day, and from start to finish it was an absolutely incredible celebration.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan!
