Spring Lake, New Jersey

My final Spring Lake engagement session of the year was truly the best of both (or rather, all 3) worlds — downtown, park, and beach! And for this sweet couple, the beach is truly such a meaningful part of their relationship.
Alyssa and Bob first met through work, and bonded over the fact that they both grew up so close to the beach! During their first year of work they eventually started working on the same team, and the rest is history!
Bob popped the question on October 2nd! As Alyssa tells it, “It was a normal Saturday for us… breakfast in Bay Head in the morning, and there were a few fall festivals in town that we walked through.”
Bob made reservations for dinner that night at Teresa’s South in Bay Head. He parked a few blocks away, and asked Alyssa if she’d rather walk through the beach or the park. “And of course, I chose the beach! He proposed while we stood overlooking the ocean.”
Alyssa’s diamond is Bob’s late grandmother’s, making it even more special to them both! “We went to a local jeweler to decide on the type of ring I wanted, which will incorporate her stone. Her ring is beautiful — and of course has sentimental value — but we are excited to see the outcome of creating our own ring with her diamond!”
Together these two love pizza and wine Friday nights, spending as much time at the beach as they can, and traveling.
I am SO excited for Alyssa and Bob’s wedding next October at Crystal Point Yacht Club in Point Pleasant!
