Sunset Divine Park Spring Lake Engagement

Spring Lake, New Jersey

Tis the season for gorgeous engagement sessions! Jenny and Brian are both so incredibly sweet, and I had the best time working with them on this beautiful evening. Spring Lake is always one of my favorite locations for engagement photos, and we had the most perfect weather to document this special time in their lives.

These two first met in college! As Jenny tells it, “We both went to Penn State and met there at an apartment party (super romantic). We have been together just over seven years and he finally popped the question on December 23rd with both of our families there. With the help of my mom, he organized a nice dinner at a restaurant in my home town and had his parents show up for the big surprise! It was really such a great day and everything we both could have ever wanted.”

I absolutely love Jenny’s ring! “Brian gave me a beautiful elongated cushion diamond in a solitaire setting and it’s absolutely perfect! I would occasionally send Brian pictures of the style of ring I wanted. When he decided it was time to propose, he worked with my sister to pick out the ring which made it even more special! He did great and the proposal was a total surprise two days before Christmas. I kind of thought it was happening either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, so he really did catch me off guard with his timing!”

Together these two live in Wharton, NJ and are huge Penn State football fans so they spend a lot of time in the fall going back for games with family and friends! When it’s not football season they love to go out to dinner, hang out with friends, and go on trips. I can’t wait to celebrate these two next October at The Madison Hotel!
