Trisha and Kenny’s wedding day at Upper Montclair Country Club was the perfect reminder that rain can make a wedding day feel even more romantic.
After meeting on Hinge and instantly connecting over dinner, these two quickly became inseparable. From skiing trips and movie nights to cooking together at home, it’s obvious that no matter what they’re doing, they genuinely just love being together. When Kenny proposed shortly before moving into their new home, Trisha walked upstairs expecting to move boxes and instead found him waiting with a ring and the easiest “yes” she’s ever said.
Leading up to the wedding day, rain had been in the forecast all week, but Trisha and Kenny never let it affect their excitement. They decided to move their ceremony indoors while fully embracing the weather throughout the rest of the day.
Kenny spent the morning getting ready with his groomsmen on the covered patio, while Trisha arrived with her mother and sister to step into her dress and finish the final touches of the morning. Their first look out on the green felt especially romantic with the misty rain surrounding them, and we took advantage of the covered walkways, patios, and umbrellas for portraits throughout the day. Shortly after they officially became husband and wife surrounded by their closest family and friends, the skies finally cleared and gave us the dreamiest glowy light for sunset portraits around the golf course.
Their vision for the wedding day was simple: throw one unforgettable party surrounded by the people they love most — and that’s exactly what they did. From the packed dance floor to the nonstop energy all night long, Trisha and Kenny’s Upper Montclair Country Club wedding was joyful, lively, and so much fun from beginning to end.
