Where to even begin with Jenna and Ryan’s engagement session?! These two had such a beautiful vision for their photos, and it was such a joy to capture. So many couples want a classic NYC taxi shot, but Jenna took it one step further — she booked a vintage cab for an hour during their session! The cab was absolutely beautiful, and has been featured in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and has even driven Lady Gaga! Shoutout to Film Cars for providing such a great experience, and amazing addition to this sweet couple’s session.
Since diving into their wedding planning journey, Jenna has become a staple in the wedding TikTok world. She shares valuable content for 2023 and 2024 brides who are planning their wedding as well and looking for tips, tricks, and inspiration. I love working with Jenna because she is super creative and has a vision for everything — which is so fun to help bring to life!
As for Jenna and Ryan as a couple, they are college sweethearts! As Jenna tells it, “We met at the University of Delaware in 2015 in the Chick-fil-a line. We lived in the same freshman dorm but never crossed paths until sophomore year. We ran into each other multiple times on campus and our interest in each other was piqued, but ultimately we were connected through mutual friends. We hit it off right away, going to fraternity events, sharing our passion for food at all the best restaurants, and spending countless hours together. We said “I love you” after dating for only two weeks and were sure about each other right away. We have been together for 7 years.”
Jenna’s ring is absolutely stunning — a cushion cut diamond with a pave white gold band. “I had Pinterest boards with all different types of rings, which I thought were all beautiful so I didn’t know exactly what I wanted but I couldn’t be happier with the ring Ryan got me. It was a total surprise; we did not pick it out together.”
Together these two live in Brooklyn and love to eat out at their favorite restaurants in the city, watch tv shows, shoot content for Jenna’s social media, watch TikToks, and prepare dinner over a bottle of red wine. I am so excited to capture their special day next October at Liberty Warehouse in Brooklyn!
