West Village NYC Engagement

New York, New York

It was so much fun working with Christina and Tim again, this time in the West Village — and I say “this time” because the last time I saw them both, I was shooting their proposal in a snow-covered Central Park!

While very different conditions, both sessions were so incredibly beautiful and I feel so lucky that I have been able to document so many special memories for them.

Christina and Tim have been together for about four and a half years now and met in college at the University of Pittsburgh. “We met at a bar in Pittsburgh, on a classic Thursday night out,” Christina explains. “As the night was ending, Tim finally came over to ask for my number as I was leaving. I can honestly say we were attracted to each other right off the bat, but we did not end up reconnecting until a few months after. The rest his history!”

Tim planned an incredible Central Park proposal for Christina this past February, and while the snow wasn’t exactly what he planned on, it made for the most magical setting. Christina was SO surprised, and it was such a joy to capture every moment.

“My ring is perfect. Tim did an amazing job working with Ring Concierge to get the absolute best diamond. It is so stunning and perfect for me. Even better than I could have imagined. We went once and tried on an oval and an emerald cut, so we knew from that moment I was leaning more towards emerald, the rest was a surprise and Tim totally ran with it!”

Working with these two again was so much fun! This time we shot a bit farther downtown. Christina and Tim absolutely love the West Village, which home to a few of their favorite go-to restaurants — including Buvette where we stopped to take a few photos. “Every time we go into the city, we always end up in the West Village!”

Together these two also love spending time with their families, cooking fun dinners at home, and being in the kitchen!

Congratulations again, Christina and Tim, I wish you both a lifetime full of so much laughter and joy!
