Shooting a proposal is always special, but nothing compares to when it’s one of your best friends!
I’ve known Katie since 6th grade, when we first met in science class and bonded over our mutual weirdness. Fast forward 17 years later and I’m shooting one of the most special moments of her life!
When her now-fiancé, Nick, messaged me a few weeks ago asking if he could give me a call, I was instantly (internally) screaming because I knew right away what was gonna go down — just call me the angel of proposals! Nick initially wanted to pop the question in LBI, which is one of Katie’s favorite places, by Barnegat Lighthouse.
Although the bomb cyclone threw a bit of a wrench into the original plan, Nick didn’t let a little blizzard stop him from asking Katie to spend the rest of her life with him. Frozen fingers and toes were 100% worth it, and it was definitely the most I’ve cried mid-shooting a proposal!
I couldn’t be happier for Katie, Nick, and their families — congratulations to these two beautiful people, now let’s plan a wedding!
