Kim and Scott’s wedding day was the perfect blend of sophisticated style, meaningful tradition, and heartfelt celebration. Beginning with a ceremony at St. Paul’s Parish in downtown Princeton and ending with a black tie reception at Jasna Polana, every part of the day felt elegant, intentional, and deeply personal. From the estate’s grand architecture and impeccably manicured grounds to a choreographed first dance and guests traveling in from the UK to celebrate, it was a wedding day that felt both refined and full of joy.
Their story began in the most unexpected way. Despite growing up just minutes apart in West Windsor-Plainsboro, Kim and Scott didn’t meet until Thanksgiving Eve three years ago through mutual friends at the Alchemist & Barrister in Princeton. The connection was immediate, and after a first date in New York City, they quickly became inseparable. Within months, Scott was spending more time at Kim’s apartment than his own, and before long they officially moved in together.
When it came time to propose, Scott brought their story full circle. Just before Christmas, he got down on one knee beneath the sparkling Palmer Square tree in Princeton. Surrounded by twinkling lights and with both families waiting to celebrate afterward, it was everything Kim had hoped for, including a round solitaire ring that reminded her of her mother’s.
Their wedding day began at Jasna Polana, with Kim getting ready alongside her bridesmaids while Scott spent the morning with his groomsmen at the Annex House. The excitement built throughout the day, and when Kim stepped into her stunning Maggie Sottero gown, everyone knew the celebration they had been waiting for had finally arrived.
The couple exchanged vows at St. Paul’s Parish, the very church Kim jokingly tried to bring Scott into the night they first met. Walking down the aisle with her mother by her side, Kim met Scott at the altar, where they officially began this next chapter surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Following the ceremony, we returned to Jasna Polana and took full advantage of everything that makes the estate so remarkable. Every corner of the property offered a stunning backdrop, from the grand architecture to the beautifully maintained grounds, making it easy to see why Jasna Polana is considered one of New Jersey’s most iconic wedding venues.
One of the highlights of the evening was Kim and Scott’s choreographed first dance. Thanks to ballroom dance lessons, they wowed their guests and kicked off a celebration filled with energy, laughter, and so much love. With many of Scott’s family traveling from the UK, it was especially meaningful to witness two families and cultures coming together on the dance floor.
Surrounded by family and friends who traveled from near and far, Kim and Scott celebrated the start of their marriage in a place that had been woven throughout their story from the very beginning. From meeting in Princeton to getting engaged beneath the Palmer Square tree and ultimately saying their vows just minutes away, their wedding day felt like the perfect full-circle moment.
