This day was a long time coming for high school sweethearts Andrea and Matt, and it truly couldn’t have been more perfect! Despite rain in the forecast all week, their day was full of nothing but clear skies and beautiful sunlight. A farmhouse-chic setting paired with classic elements made for a timeless celebration alongside their family and friends.
These two first met in 8th grade after Andrea moved to the town where Matt was already attending school — and they actually first met on an eighth grade field trip to DC! Andrea and Matt became fast friends, and remained friends until the summer going into their junior year of high school. As they say, the rest is history! They officially got engaged in November of 2019 at a vineyard in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
Andrea and Matt currently live in Greenville, South Carolina and in their spare time enjoy renting a boat and heading out on Lake Keowee. “We are both summer people and enjoy all the summer activities like pool days, taking walks on the warm summer nights, and hiking,” Andrea shared. “We are also both foodies and love trying new restaurants and exploring different types of food. We enjoy new adventures and are hoping to head out to California later this year, rent a car, and see as much of it as we can! We also both love to spend time with our puppy Ella of course! We also enjoy TV and movies and are usually always in the middle of watching a TV show together.”
Bear Brook Valley was the perfect setting for these two to make their marriage official! That morning, Andrea and her girls got glammed in the gorgeous Silo Suite while Matt and the guys shared a hilarious first look down by the Woodford Lounge. Their whole day was full of beautiful florals, gorgeous light, and so much love for the newly married couple. Through handwritten vows, they made their promises to each other in front of all of their family and friends, and there was no shortage of an amazing dance party to celebrate their marriage. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Henry, I couldn’t be happier for the two of you!
