My final sunrise engagement session of the year was so much fun with Ally and Will! These two are so incredibly sweet and I clicked with them immediately, despite the early wakeup time! Ally is a nurse at Sloan Kettering, so she’s used to heading into the city in the wee hours of the morning, but shoutout to Will for being a trooper and having a great positive attitude alongside his fiancé. We are so lucky to have gotten the tail end of the fall foliage, and had such beautiful, glowy light for this sunrise session.
These two are college sweethearts! As Ally tells it, “We met at Fairfield University. We were friends until senior year and then decided to try things out. Will made the first move sophomore year that was denied, until I did have feelings senior year! We have known each other almost 10 years now and together for 5!”
Will popped the question in the most meaningful place to the two of them — on Fairfield’s campus! Her engagement ring is absolutely stunning. “It is a round solitaire cut set in platinum. I wanted something timeless! We weren’t supposed to go together, but ended up doing it together!”
Together these two live in Montclair and love going for drives or exploring a new area for dinner. I am so excited to celebrate these two next fall at Battello in Jersey City, it’s going to be a beautiful day!
