An incredible day celebrating Alex and Tim at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club! I could not love these two more — their approach to their wedding day paired with their sense of humor made them quite literally my ideal client. As soon as we met at their engagement session in Hoboken, I knew their wedding was going to be an amazing day. Alex is so incredibly beautiful, and Tim is a rare breed of man who does not hate photos (very exciting for a photographer)! I feel like I’d been counting down the weeks until their celebration for so long, and when the day finally came it couldn’t have been more stunning.
Alex and Tim have been together for over six years now! As Alex tells it, “Long story short, we went to college together but didn’t know one another. It wasn’t until several years later one of my friends who knew him mentioned he lived in Hoboken (so did I at the time) and that he was “looking good.” So on Saint Patrick’s day, after one too many Irish car bombs, I slide in his DMs on Instagram. He clearly loves this story more than I do but I am proud, and very happy I made the first move!”
I absolutely love Alex’s ring, although I may be a bit biased because it is so similar to my own! “I have a solitaire round diamond with a plain white gold band! It’s exactly what I wanted. We did go ring shopping several months prior to our engagement because I’m neurotic.” Together Alex and Tim live in Belmar Beach and love traveling, going for walks, and riding bikes along the beach.
When I asked Alex what her vision was for her wedding day, she said, “Classy, elegant, but still a super fun time with dancing and drinking! Kind of old Hollywood money vibes, but I have no money and am not famous.” Fiddler’s Elbow was the perfect setting to bring their vision to life and, despite the summer heat, everything was flawless from start to finish. Alex dazzled in her elegant Elysee gown — a classic strapless sweetheart bodice with a sophisticated draped back — and Tim looked absolutely dapper in his classic black tux.
I had the most unforgettable day with these two, and am so happy I was able to document their celebration. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Fulton!
