New York, New York

A hot summer evening with Rachel and Mack in the city! The moment I met these two, I knew it was going to be an amazing shoot. Rachel and Mack are so incredibly sweet, and you can tell how much they love each other.
We were lucky enough to get access to Gramercy Park for their session. For any non-NYC locals, Gramercy Park is a small private park, accessible only by key and surrounded by stunning brownstones and tree-lined streets. The park was immaculately landscaped, and it was such a pleasure getting to photograph in such a quiet space in the midst of the city. We headed to their favorite bar, Gramercy Tavern, afterwards, and ended their session in Madison Square Park close to their apartment.
This couple first met as business school while getting their MBAs in 2019, and eventually started dating in 2020. Rachel told me that she made the first move! “We had been friends for a while, but always knew there was something there!”
Fast forward to this past April when Mack popped the question! Prior to the proposal, Rachel’s mom had given the two of them a water color painting of a spot in Central Park that they hung in their apartment. Mack took Rachel to that very spot and proposed! Rachel was super surprised in the moment, but she hoped it was coming (and she got her wish!). These two had looked at rings together to get a sense of what Rachel liked, and Mack did an incredible job bringing her dream ring to life.
Together these two live in the Flatiron District of the city and love playing pickle ball in Central Park, going out to eat, going for walks, and getting ice cream. It was so much fun working with these two, despite the crazy summer heat, and I can’t wait to celebrate them next March on their beautiful wedding day at The Pierre!
