After a few weather-related reschedules, I’m so happy that Alex and Wes finally got a beautiful summer evening for their engagement session! These two are the absolute sweetest, and I had the best time exploring downtown NYC with them.
Alex and Wes met for the first time at a mutual friend’s birthday party! About a month after, they officially started dating. As Alex told me, “Wes wasn’t originally planning to go, but decided to at the last minute. So thankful he did!” They have been together for four and a half years now.
Wes officially popped the question at Bradley Beach last July! “A ton of thick fog rolled in as soon as we arrived, so he had to wait nervously into the afternoon (poor him, I can’t imagine the anxiety)! Luckily the sun finally came out and he was able to pop the question on the perfect sunny beach day!” Alex, of course, said yes, and her ring is absolutely beautiful. “I wanted a simple and classic ring, so a solitaire was the perfect match! Wes was happy to include me in the process, so we went shopping together.”
Together these two live in the city and love watching movies and TV shows, traveling, trying new restaurants, and going for walks along the river. Not only are they getting married in the states next year, they are also having a wedding in China so that Wes’s family members can attend! I’m so excited to celebrate their love next May at Park Chateau, it’s going to be the best day!
