Never Forget

Congratulations on your engagement! This is such an exciting time, but I know at times it can feel overwhelming. My goal as your wedding photographer is to not only capture beautiful photos, but to also take as much off your plate as I can. Your wedding day should be fun and be full of joy! I’m so incredibly excited to capture all of these special moments for you, as well as create an amazing experience that you, your family, and guests will never forget. So, let’s get started!

step one

Inquire

Fill out the contact form to receive more information about investment and availability. I love to know as much as I can about your wedding, no detail is too small to share! From there, we will schedule your 30 minute complimentary consultation so I can learn more about the vision for your special day, and you can ask any remaining questions you may have.

step two

Book

A signed contract and retainer will make us official! 1/3 of the total cost is due at the time of booking to secure your date, 1/3 is due halfway, and final 1/3 is due a month before your wedding. After booking, you will receive a list of vendor recommendations as well as a wedding guide to walk you through all things photography for your special day.

step three

Engagement Session

Your engagement session will give us the chance to work together before your wedding day. You’ll have the chance to get to know me and experience how I shoot, so by your wedding day you will be total pros! Your engagement session also gives you a beautiful gallery of images to use for your save the dates and wedding website.

step four

Plan

A few months prior to your wedding date, we will work closely together to craft a timeline to ensure the entire day runs smoothly from start to finish. I’m more than happy to work alongside your planner or coordinator, and will provide a sample timeline that takes into account timing for photo coverage as well as ceremony, reception, and sunset.

Remember

I know you’re excited to see your photos! You will be able to enjoy a gallery of sneak peaks delivered within 2-3 days after your wedding. Your full online gallery will be delivered within 8 weeks, and will be available online for one year after your wedding date. You will be able to share, print, and download all high resolution image files (no watermarks!).

My Approach to Capturing A

Wedding Day

The number one concern I hear from couples prior to their wedding day is that they worry they will look awkward in photos. Nearly all of my clients voice this fear to me, but know this — I will be directing you, prompting you, and encouraging you every step of the way. I totally understand it’s a really vulnerable experience being in front of a stranger’s camera, so it is my number one goal to help you feel comfortable, confident, and even have fun! For the majority of the wedding day I am vocally directing my couple, the wedding party, and their family to make sure everyone knows exactly what they should be doing. From the ceremony on, I tend to take more of a photojournalistic approach with less direction — simply capturing moments as they unfold.
