An absolutely beautiful fall wedding day for sweet Jen and Andrew! These two got some of the most beautiful weather of the year, making an absolutely perfect day for these high school sweethearts.
As Jen tells it, “Funny enough we were actually in the same 5th grade class but never actually talked until we were sat next to each other in Culinary Arts senior year. We started talking in class and eventually Andrew asked for my number. Our first date was ice skating in Red Bank right before Christmas, and it was magical!” They have now been together for nearly nine years!
Fast-forward to January of 2021 when Andrew popped the question, and Jen of course said yes! These two get each other Shutterfly books every Christmas, so that year Andrew made an extra special one for Jen — complete with a poem, and a proposal! Jen was SO surprised and couldn’t believe Andrew had picked out the ring of her dreams.
“My ring is so perfect! One day while I was at work Andrew and his mom went and picked out the ring together. It is exactly what I would have picked, and I think fits me perfectly.” Andrew admitted he did a bit of sleuthing and found Jen’s Pinterest, which he used to draw inspiration for the ring he chose. Jen and Andrew live together in Keyport, NJ and are big foodies! Andrew is a chef, so they love to try out new restaurants. (And a professional chef?! Andrew is definitely a keeper!)
I absolutely loved capturing Jen and Andrew’s wedding day. Each of them started the day getting ready at their childhood homes, Jen with her bridesmaids and Andrew with his groomsmen. We met up at Deep Cut Gardens where the two of them shared a sweet first look — which is also where Jen’s parents did their wedding photos, making it all the more meaningful. Andrew was at a loss for words upon seeing his bride to be, and together these two truly make such a beautiful couple.
Jen and Andrew made their marriage official with their ceremony at 618 Restaurant, followed by a wonderful celebration with their closest family and friends. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Araneo, I couldn’t be happier for the two of you!
