Nicole and Brian had such a beautiful day for their wedding — exactly 10 years and a day after their first date! Although it was early December, the cold weather (and snow!) fortunately held off and these two were able to tie the knot alongside their closest friends and family at 618 Restaurant.
These two first met thanks to Nicole’s father, crazy enough! Brian knew her dad through the fire department, and once they met they hit it off and began dating a few months later. You can read more about Nicole and Brian’s story and proposal on their Deep Cut Gardens engagement session blog.
Nicole and Brian drew the look and feel for their special day from inspiration found on Pinterest and Instagram, and everything came together beautifully — from the jewel-toned color palette to the eclectic mug wall wedding favors, their wedding was everything they had dreamed of.
We started the day at the Colts Neck Inn Hotel where Nicole stepped into her dress while Brian opened her sweet wedding gift to him. Their first look on the steps of the inn was so emotional and full of love — Brian was already crying before he even turned to see her. Through laughter and happy tears, we captured their beautiful wedding portraits (with a special guest appearance by their adorable black Lab, Dozer) on the grounds of the inn before heading to the venue so they could finally make it official!
I am so happy that Nicole and Brian chose me to capture these special moments for them, and even happier that these two can now start the next chapter in their lives together as husband and wife! Congratulations to the Yockmans!
