The perfect day for the sweetest couple — Daphnie and David are officially married! These two truly had one of the most beautiful days of the summer to celebrate their marriage with their closest friends and family by their sides.
From the moment I met Daphnie and David last September at their engagement session in Spring Lake, I knew their love was something special. Their passion for each other is truly inspiring, and I am SO honored to have been a part of their story in even the smallest of ways.
Daphnie and David tied the knot at The Views at Mount Fuji, an aptly named venue that truly boasts the most incredible views! Thankfully it was nothing but cool breezes and sunny skies on their wedding day — even though the day before had been filled with torrential downpours. The weather cleared and the stars aligned for the most amazing day for two people who were so deserving of just that.
This couple had the sweetest, most supportive wedding party and family, and it was beyond evident how much love they hold for Daphnie and David. Daphnie’s young son, Nick, told his mother over and over how beautiful she looked (I only almost cried every time), and witnessing his strong bond with David was one of my favorite moments throughout the entire day.
Daphnie and David’s vows to each other were poetic and filled with so much love and emotion. Daphnie expressed how any mistakes she had made in the past have led her straight to David, and because of that she lives life with no regrets. David recalled how he never thought he would get married, but the joke was truly on him as soon as her met Daphnie — from day one, he could not get her out of his head.
Initially brought together by mutual friends, as fate would have it they had missed meeting each other by even mere minutes for almost ten years. But they truly met at the perfect time, when they had both lived enough of their lives to know that they didn’t want to live another minute without the other by their side.
To top it off, David ended the night with a surprise — a song he learned which he played on the guitar (and sang!) for Daphnie. I mean, seriously, talk about husband material!
From the details (Daphnie made each centerpiece by hand!) to the stunning views, this day was nothing short of perfect and I truly could not be happier for sweet Daphnie and David. Cheers and congratulations to the newly married couple!
