It is truly one of the greatest honors when a fellow wedding industry creative wants YOU to capture their wedding.

Christina is an incredibly talented wedding filmmaker, and I have had the absolute pleasure of working alongside her before. When Christina reached out to me about her own wedding day, I was beyond flattered — and so excited! I knew Christina would create a picture-perfect day for herself and Ron to celebrate their marriage.

Although I had met Christina before, this was my first time meeting Ron — and oh my gosh, I don’t know which one of them is sweeter! They are truly two of the kindest, most thoughtful people, and I can’t even begin to explain how perfect they are for each other.

These two just moved into their new house in northern Connecticut last month, and I am so excited for them to continue building their home together, and now as husband and wife!

Christina and Ron certainly faced their fair share of challenges leading up to this day, but nothing that they couldn’t take on together. On the morning of their wedding, the sun was shining, the air was cool and crisp, and I couldn’t wait to celebrate alongside these two.

When we were chatting in the weeks leading up to their wedding day, Christina had mentioned a field of long grass on the golf course that she imagined shooting in. I, of course, was so down. Although it seemed like things kept getting in the way of getting those shots that Christina wanted so badly — there was a golf tournament at the club, there were not golf carts available to drive us out, etc. — we decided to make it happen.

And oh boy, I am SO glad we did.

The portraits we took in the grass are some of my favorite wedding portraits ever, and Christina and Ron are truly a model couple. They barely needed any direction beyond, “Now pick her up and spin her around!” From there, it was pure magic.

Thank you SO much to Christina and Ron for trusting me to capture this day for them — I feel so fortunate to have been a part of their wedding. Congratulations to the Goodmans!
